Front of House Manager – Commercial The Lights, Andover Grade 8 £38,892.48 to £42,533.28 per annum 37 hours per week - some evening and weekend working will be required. The Lights is a bright multi-purpose venue, providing audiences with spectacular live shows, a café space for socialising, studios for dance and exercise classes, and rooms for corporate hirings and events, set in the heart of Hampshire. This is an exciting time to be joining us; we are busy running a successful well-loved theatre and community venue whilst also looking ahead to the creation of a new theatre in Andover with the opportunities that will bring to develop our current offering. As the commercial lead, you will be responsible for driving corporate hire revenue streams for the venue, including developing commercial sponsorship opportunities. By harnessing your creative powers and organisational skills you will help hirers achieve their event goals and provide support in running events. You will work closely with the rest of the Lights team to ensure we deliver an effective and rounded service. You will also be involved in Duty Managing professional events and shows in the auditorium. You will be working closely with your counterpart in that area – Front of House Manager – Professional Programme and will provide cover and support for each other. We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative person with a strong sense of pride in customer service and business development with a drive to make things happen. You will ideally have experience of developing business, and have a knowledge of, or experience in, running events. You will be a positive, professional and flexible approach. To be successful in this role you will need to be passionate about the theatre, as well as the arts and building positive working relationships with a variety of people. We can teach you the nuts and bolts of what we do and why The Lights is such a special place, but you will need to bring with you a strong business acumen, good organisational skills and attention to detail.
