Job Title: Compliance Advisor/Auditor
Location: Site based with Tipton as head office
Salary: to £40k plus car/allowance and benefits
An exciting new opportunity for a Compliance Advisor/Auditor to work alongside our QUENSH and Operational Managers. The role will primarily require site visits across OnSite's UK-based live projects to check, support and advise on compliance.
You'll work from the Tipton hub while traveling across the Midlands region to inspect numerous projects. Reporting into the QUENSH Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all internal and external processes, industry standards and company regulations. The role will require the candidate to undertake audits on each project with regards to quality assurance, site drawings and documentation. The role will require the Compliance Advisor/Auditor to recording their findings and following up with management to ensure the issues are rectified.
This position will support site teams which may comprise of Project Managers, Site Agents, Site Supervisors, Foremen and supply chain, and take full responsibility for the management, recording and timely execution of the project quality deliverables in accordance with key deliverables schedules, client expectations and company quality requirements. Where there are systemic failings throughout the business, the auditor will help develop internal controls to manage out any such failings.

What's the role:
* Monitor and maintain the company Integrated Management System for ISO 9001 and quality management system in relation to any specific project requirements.
* Ensure that the construction of the new asset is compliant with relevant regulations and conditions of the contract.
* Keeping up to date with new legislation and best practices in the industry, and training employees on this.
* Ensure all quality planning is managed on site including all Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs and the related ITFs) are in place before works commence on site and maintained throughout.
* Ensure there is evidence of quality inspection checklists, and they're being completed and managed efficiently on site.
* Maintaining records and preparing reports to identify trending for wider education pieces. Highlighting areas where poor practice and/or significant risk have occurred.
* Collaborating with other departments to address skill gaps and provide coaching.
* Work with Senior Managers on the development and implementation of Quality strategies for improvement.
* Provide professional support and advice to the Senior Management Team and other employees on quality related matters.
What you will need:
* Up to date knowledge of UK legislation in relation to ISO 9001.
* CSCS Card Holder - Management Standard.
* Excellent technical knowledge of Construction and Civil Engineering best practices.
* Excellent IT Skills - in-particular Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Good management/organisational skills, with ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
* Experience in delivering presentations/training sessions.
* Relevant construction experience.
* Full Driving Licence.
