The successful applicant will be a self-starter looking to significantly impact the future of our technical services offering, providing best-in-class technical support to our customers, with a view to become a leading subject matter expert in the field. Responsibilities - Provide technical and design support to customers through our technical helpdesk. - Undertake roof, floor, wall designs and remedial works on behalf of our customers to their specifications and requirements. - Undertake bespoke designs to customer requirements. - Liaise with key stakeholders to provide solutions to complex design, engineering, and software queries on the behalf of customers and ITW colleagues. - Identify and capture knowledge of multiple products from senior subject matter experts, ensuring a future pipeline of in-house expertise. - Contribute to engineering discussions between the Technical, R&D and Software Development departments. - Identify customer support trends and utilise the ITW toolbox, working with the Technical Team and other key stakeholders within the business, to further improve our technical service offering. - Review internal and customer software releases in keeping with our internal familiarisation processes to understand new features and provide pre-release feedback to the Software Development teams as necessary. - Contributing and maintaining content on our technical portal. - Working with key stakeholders, support the onboarding of new customers through the transition to our software, metalwork and beyond through exemplary technical and design support. Requirements - Demonstrable experience in reading technical drawings, calculations, and specifications. - Experience using AutoCAD or equivalent draughting package. - Use of either Floor, Truss or Timber frame draughting, and design software essential. - Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
