The Older Adults Acute Inpatient Service provides inpatient care, assessment and interventions to service users experiencing acute or enduring mental health difficulties, to enable increased independence and successful reintegration back into the community, further rehab or supported care facilities. To provide Acute Inpatient based services that enable people to define, build and live a meaningful, independent and satisfying life. The post holder will work in a way that promotes positive partnership working between all members of the older adults acute inpatient service and its partners. They will have an excellent understanding of the principles of assessment and recovery and will practice clinically in a way that promotes therapeutic optimism and hope with service users The post holder will participate as directed by the Band 6 Occupational therapists and other senior colleagues in the operational functioning of the inpatient acute inpatient Team.
