Job Title: Fleet Engineer
Location: Crewe
Working Hours: Fully onsite, 35 hours per week (8am – 5pm)

Key Responsibilities of Fleet Engineer:
Vehicle Planning & Definition: Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to plan and define vehicle requirements for each project.
Vehicle Coordination: Maximise vehicle usage, manage transport logistics, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve vehicle concerns raised within the business, ensuring timely updates.
Disguise Strategy: Oversee the vehicle disguise strategy, including sourcing and delivering appropriate disguises.
Key Competencies & Qualifications of Fleet Engineer:
Financial Awareness: Understand financial limits related to your area of responsibility.
Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence colleagues at various levels.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, especially for cross-functional challenges.
Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of health and safety regulations and risk assessment completion.
German Language: Proficiency in German is preferable but not essential.
Skills & Experience of Fleet Engineer:
Knowledge of vehicle road-worthiness and legislative requirements in various countries.
Strong expertise in design, development, testing, and engineering software tools.
Familiarity with the Product Emergence Process (PEP).
Qualifications expected of Fleet Engineer:
An Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification is preferable.
Membership in a relevant professional institution and Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.

The role requires building strong cross-functional relationships to address both EE and non-EE vehicle aspects.
