Long-Term Teachers have a unique opportunity to be part of a fantastic special school that provides high-quality education to students with additional needs. You will be working with students with additional needs, including SEMH, ADHD, autism and aspergers. You will play a crucial role in supporting both the academic and personal development of the students.

About the role:
* Have lead responsibility for the maths curriculum
* Engage and motivate students, establishing a love for learning
* Work closely with support staff and SLT to provide the highest quality of education
* Develop plans which identify clear targets for progression
* Adapt teaching to suit the needs of the students and provide a personalised approach
* Participate in training opportunities
* Effectively manage pupil behaviour
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of pupils
Previous experience working with a special needs school is desirable. However, if you have worked with SEN students within a mainstream school, this will suffice. It is also essential that you are able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
This will be a full time position, starting in September. You will be working Monday - Friday during the hours of 8:45am - 4:45pm.
