About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Coordinator – Global Travel Retail to join our team. Reporting to the Global Sales Director, this role supports key strategic integration projects, collaborates with the wider travel retail team on business review preparation, creates new processes, and oversees annual TFWA preparation.
The successful candidate will monitor new products, emerging trends, competitive intelligence, and best practices to maximize Creed’s commercial opportunities within the travel retail sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Global Sales Director and the wider travel retail team to achieve commercial success.
2. Coordinate the transition into direct management of global travel retail operators.
3. Monitor and analyze market trends, new products, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth.
4. Prepare and deliver presentations to review business cases and commercial opportunities.
5. Develop new processes and enhance existing operations, including budget tracking, marketing activation reviews, and new launch preparations.
6. Assist with the onboarding and launch of new brands within the travel retail sector.
7. Coordinate annual trade shows and key industry events.
8. Work cross-functionally with global teams including store design, visual merchandising, marketing, and brand teams.
Skills/Experience Desired
1. Retail and/or travel retail experience in a fast-paced and agile environment.
2. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and drive strategic decision-making.
3. Solid commercial awareness of retail dynamics, particularly within luxury fragrance/beauty.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared business objectives.
6. Customer-focused mindset to enhance the travel retail experience.
7. Strong market awareness, with a keen eye on industry trends and competitor activity.
8. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workloads.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, including complex formulas.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or travel retail, preferably within the luxury fragrance/beauty sector.
3. Proven track record of supporting commercial projects and delivering successful outcomes.
