Morson Talent are delighted to present an opportunity for a suitably qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our client's established Pressure Compliance Team. All work is associated with a major energy infrastructure Project in Somerset. This is a 12-month (renewable) contract position – inside IR35. Site based.
Contextual Information
The Pressure Compliance organisation sits within the Quality Function and is responsible for developing and delivering plant compliance for pressure systems structural integrity, conformity assessment and safety. The team interacts closely with many different stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineering Design, manufacturing/installation companies and regulators.
For conventional pressure components, UK Pressure Equipment Safety Regulations remain applicable and define the role of a “Manufacturer” and the appointment of a Conformity Assessment Body Contractual arrangements on Project BOP scope, with different stakeholders in charge of system design, execution design, procurement, fabrication and installation, have led to the internalisation of the overarching role of “Manufacturer”.
