ABOUT THE ROLE: This is an incredible opportunity to work with a family-run residential childcare provider, offering a variety of placements for young people between the ages of 8–18, many of whom may display emotional and challenging behaviours. The young people we support have often faced significant adversity and trauma, and as a result, are no longer able to live in their familial or foster homes. Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment for these young individuals, as well as a rewarding and developmental workplace for our care teams. We ensure that all our staff adhere to the relevant standards and guidelines, including those set by Ofsted and the Children’s Act. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives. In return, we offer excellent opportunities for personal and professional development, along with career progression within the organisation. We provide access to training and continuous professional development (CPD), and you will be a positive role model who encourages young people to build meaningful relationships and attachments. Requirements: Must be working towards or have completed a Level 4 Diploma in Children’s and Young People. At least 2 years of experience in childcare or a youth setting, ideally at a Residential Childcare Worker level. A sound understanding of the challenges young people and carers face in a residential care setting. A Full UK driving licence is required.
