Job Description Planning and Delivery Leader – Aerospace Procurement Full time - 12 Month Secondment Derby/Hybrid What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning and Delivery Leader to join the Aerospace Procurement team, based in Derby. As a Planning and Delivery Leader, you will play an integral role in the preparation, planning, issuing, and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production. This is a great opportunity to work with cross functional teams whilst also working to advise management of the status of work and work to overcome potential production obstacles. Responsibilities: With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to: Schedule equipment and personnel and confirm material supply and demands. Prepare work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirement. Co-ordinate interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. Associate’s degree in with 3 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR;•Bachelor's degree in with 1 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR Master's degree with 0 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR JD/PhD with 0 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing. In lieu of degree 5 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing. Preferred Requirements: Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience.
