Supply Chain Analyst
This role is inside IR35. Seeking an aerospace/defence experienced supply chain analyst near the Isle of Wright, or on the south coast, to support activity on-site at a supplier facility in the south, as well as throughout the UK on a 5-days per week basis, for a period of at least 4 months (till the end of the year). The role will act as our customer representative on-site, working with the suppliers on schedule adherence, problems as they may arise, pushing processes and preventing delays. Hybrid role.
Brief Job Description:
1. Guarantee the support for development Suppliers in medium and long term period, contributing in the definition of improvement plans;
2. Act as the interface between the customer and the Supplier, ensuring delivery performance under the contracts in place, under supervision of the related Supplier Program Managers;
3. Perform regular monitoring of Suppliers capacity and capabilities levels, together with manufacturing plans;
4. Evaluation of increase/decrease of manufacturing rate on the Suppliers accordingly to the level of saturation;
5. Manage on regular basis ad hoc meeting with low performer Suppliers in order to analyze root causes and identify required recovery plans;
6. Facilitate the support to the Suppliers for configuration management of external WPs;
7. Oversee delivery management in line with expected quality standards in strict coordination with Supplier Program Manager;
8. Definition/implementation of standard methodologies for MRP output deployment at Suppliers, in coordination with Materials Planning and Management of CoEs;
9. Analysis and monitoring of qualitative level of MRP output deployed at Suppliers from Material Planning and Management of CoEs, defining standard metrics for planning quality verification;
10. Participation to cleaning/rationalization of MRP data.
Experience Requirements:
1. Ideally Degree educated, with a minimum of 7 years of previous work experience in supply chain management.
2. Knowledge/experience in TC, ITAR / EAR themes, as well as military materials management.
3. Experience in the Aerospace and Defence Industry.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
5. Ability to use ERP / MRP systems (i.e. SAP), specifically relating to procurement activities.
