Due to ongoing business growth, Safe Environment now requires a self-motivated, punctual Senior Asbestos Surveyor / Project Manager. Additional training will be provided. The role would suit an experienced Asbestos Project/Contracts Manager or a Surveyor/Consultant looking for progression into a Management role.
Responsibilities/duties:
1. Driving throughout the UK with average 2-3 nights overnight per week (overnight allowance paid)
2. Carrying out Commercial and Domestic Management and R&D Asbestos Surveys
3. Undertaking Compliance and Safety auditing of asbestos works
4. Organising/management of a surveying team, Quality Checking of survey reports and reporting responsibilities
5. Offering technical advice/expertise to other staff
6. Assisting with other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
1. BOHS P402
2. IPAF/PASMA
3. At least three years’ experience asbestos surveying across all building types/sectors
4. Full, driving licence (<6 points) (and own vehicle desirable)
5. 2 x References

2. Experience in managing teams and client/account management
3. A track record of working with teams and managing survey projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines

Hours will be between 40-50 per week inclusive of travel/driving.
Salary & Benefits:
£36,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience and skills)
31 days annual leave entitlement (inc. Christmas shutdown)
