Rate of Pay: £13.70 - £17.24 per Hour
Summary:

As a Social Work Assistant, you will support social workers in delivering high-quality services that positively impact children, young people, and families. This role involves direct engagement, casework responsibilities, and collaboration with multi-agency partners.
Responsibilities:
* Manage an allocated worker case load as assigned by the Team Manager/Social Worker.
* Collect, accurately record, and critically analyze relevant information using management information systems.
* Ensure the well-being and safety of children and young people through statutory-compliant assessments.
* Provide practical day-to-day support to children and their families as directed.
* Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to deliver comprehensive and effective services.
* Maintain accurate case records and reports in compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in social work, social care, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of child protection laws, policies, and best practices.
Experience:
* Experience in social work support, casework, or child welfare services.
* Ability to work effectively in multi-agency environments.
* Proficiency in case recording and report writing.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
