An opportunity exists at Hovis Wellingborough to join a small team of manufacturing operatives responsible for operating the site's flour mills producing the highest quality bakers flour to Hovis bakeries. Site operations are 24/7 and the role requires this team member to work on a rotating 7 on then 7 off shift pattern alternating days and nights. In position, the key tasks are supporting the mill process controller in the safe, effective and efficient running of the flour mills whilst completing a number of sampling and product protection tests. The role has a blend of both physical and administrative tasks completed against established procedures and routines. The uniqueness of the operation will see a full and detailed training programme implemented with a longer running development and learning plan enabling the deliverable of a fully skilled operator to be achieved.
