About the role: As a learning support assistant, you will: Provide tailored support to students, helping them engage fully in their education Work 1:1 or in small groups to promote academic progress and personal development Travel to outreach centres and homes to deliver education in a range of environments Foster emotional wellbeing and equip students with essential life skills Collaborate with teachers, support staff and families to ensure a holistic approach to student development About you: We are looking for an individual who: Has a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs Can remain calm, empathetic and professional, even when faced with challenging behaviour Has prior experience working with individuals with SEN/additional needs Holds a valid driver’s licence (minimum of 2 years experience), access to their own vehicle and business insurance Possesses strong communication skills to inspire and motivate students Is adaptable, flexible and has a great sense of humour Working hours: 8:45am - 4:45pm, Monday to Friday, term time only This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive team where you’ll play a key role in helping young people overcome challenges and thrive.
