Assistant accountant

Position: Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Deeside

Pay: £30,000

I am working with a SME Manufacturing business in Deeside who are looking for a Assistant Management Accountant to join the manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
* Conduct production reporting, including various variance analyses.
* Manage product costing and stock reporting.
* Provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
* Partner with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and profitability improvements.
* Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as needed.
* Perform financial analysis of departmental spending.
* Oversee month-end reporting.

Qualifications:

* AAT with experience in SMEs or manufacturing.
* Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights.
* Proficient in Excel, with experience working with large datasets.
* Ambitious and driven, with a desire to grow with the business and take on increased responsibility.
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
