Production Planner required for aerospace component manufacturer based near Leeds. Monday - Friday day shift. Early finish Fridays. Up to £35K, Great benefits - bonus, pension, discount schemes etc.

The Production Planner will work across a diverse and demanding manufacturing environment to plan and produce a detailed work schedule in line with Customer demand, internal constraints and key business operations metrics.
Production Planner responsibilities will include:
Plan and produce a balanced manufacturing schedule to achieve customer delivery dates and internal metrics.
Review and report achieved production levels and weekly adherence to schedule
Analyse plant capacity and demonstrated production data to understand and mitigate any potential bottlenecks.
Facilitate the daily production meetings and line walk.
General maintenance of SAP data, incorporating an active role in ensuring master data accuracy
Play an active role in scrap reduction initiatives
Additional qualifications and experience to support your role as Production Planner:
Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the manufacturing sector
Excellent IT skills including a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel functions and ideally SAP (or similar ERP system)
Solid organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience of managing a demanding workload in accordance with tight deadlines
Ability and desire to contribute to the development of the company through involvement in continuous improvement projects / activities
The ability to demonstrate drive and enthusiasm when undertaking all work tasks
