Responsibilities The Director, Product Marketing, Operations has a significant impact on the growth trajectory of our Unified Operations portfolio. Oracle Unified Operations has market leading technology which includes key OSS components including Assurance, Orchestration and Inventory management among other solution components. The portfolio has been built over the years through organic and inorganic development, and has a strong pipeline of new innovations, a commitment to excellence and investment, and a large global customer base. You’ll bring to this role strong business and technical acumen, market and customer insight, great communications skills, and proven experience delivering rapid growth. Responsibilities include: Define differentiated positioning and messaging to drive market awareness and demand for the key solution components of the Unified Operations portfolio, specifically around Assurance to start with and expanding into other parts of the portfolio in time. Develop compelling content including sales presentations, videos, web content, demo stories, ebooks, and thought leadership pieces to reflect the value proposition Engage with key analysts and influencers for Assurance and the broader Unified Operations portfolio and build positive market view Deliver presentations at industry and Oracle events and customer meetings Partner with multiple Oracle organizations (including Product Management, Sales, Analyst Relations, Field/Campaign Marketing, PR, Alliances) to deliver messaging, generate demand, and define and execute on go to market strategies Serve as Oracle subject matter expert and visionary at industry trends impacting orchestration such 5G, automation, data-driven assurance and cloud. Collaborate with industry partners such as systems integrators Act as an evangelist on social media Requirements for this position include: 10 years of experience in the areas of operations supports systems such as service fulfilment, service and network orchestration, service and network assurance, inventory, network automation) in a vendor, SI or service provider environment 10 years of experience in the communications industry. 5 years product marketing or outbound product management responsibility in an enterprise software environment Knowledge of latest disruptive trends around cloud based networks, software defined networking, network function virtualization, and closed loop automation Exceptional presentation and communication skills, written and verbal; great storyteller Highly energetic, charismatic, creative and organized Understanding of broader ecosystem of solutions including CX, BSS, and network Team player with ability to build relationships and influence Position can be based in U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland. Remote work (not based in Oracle office) optional. Post-pandemic domestic and international travel required. Education: MBA preferred, BA required in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or Journalism/English
