Contract Details: Temporary, Full Time
Salary: £21.31 - £26.52 per hour

As a Resident Services Officer, you will:
Provide expert advice and support on housing benefits and council tax
Assist residents facing homelessness with compassionate case management
Ensure compliance with security tenure guidelines
Collaborate with community partners to create effective solutions
Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident interactions
Engage with residents to understand their needs and improve services Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Detailed knowledge of housing benefit and council tax benefit systems
Proven experience in providing homelessness advice
Strong case management skills with a customer-focused approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications in social work, housing, or a related field Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Familiarity with local government policies and procedures
Experience in a similar role within the housing sector
Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
Understanding of the diverse community within the Borough Technologies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with case management software
Familiarity with online communication tools
