Sales Business Development Manager
My client an established business in the food industry, with a prominent presence in the meat trade, due to strong growth and ambitions plans are seeking a Sales Manager to join their team, to support the business through on their journey.
Your expertise will drive the future growth of the business, creating and executing a robust sales strategy, supported by the Directors.
Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Monitor sales activities and reporting as needed
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on them
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
• Collaboration with other departments
Requirements :
• Proven experience in a similar sales environment within the food industry, preferably within Meat, Fish or Poultry
• Strong network and credible relationships - Food service/ Discounted Retailer client base
• Excellent knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
• Proficient in administrative tasks, such as creating reports and analysing data
• Be open to travel as needed to meet with customers- very much your diary to manage
