Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Director will play a crucial role in leading the sales function for Leasys UK to manage and drive sales results across the three key sales channels i.e. retailers, brokers and direct to market. The role will form part of the Executive committee and the role holder will be responsible for contributing and leading the commercial proposition for Leasys UK.
The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and delivering a strong commercial policy to both the retailer and broker networks. They will work closely with the Leasys Marketing director to ensure that products and commercial offers are in-line with the market and meet the needs of our partners. The role holder will build relationships with key personnel within the Stellantis brands, supporting the Stellantis sales channel and driving growth in the Leasys penetration into the brand sales. They will also need to manage relationships with multi-marque brands to support the fleet requirements of key customers.
The Sales Director will motivate, coach and performance manage a large sales team that consists of both field managers responsible for partner relationships, direct customer sales and the administration function which will support all commercial actions for the sales function.They will devise pay plans and objective structures that drive results whilst ensuring quality and compliance throughout the customer journey. Setting clear direction, leading a team and forging productive cross-functional working relationships, both internally within Leasys UK and with Stellantis UK and the Leasys Central teams, are pivotal to the role.

The main responsibilities:
* Manage & deliver Leasys sales volumes across all three sales team channels i.e. via retailers, brokers and direct to market, ensuring optimisation and quality in all sales channels to achieve budgetary targets; Commercial performance to include the sale of all financial products, maintenance and tyre products and additional services offered
* Lead the engagement of the retailer and broker networks to motivate and drive sales results with Leasys products, whilst engaging them to sell services to provide customers with an enhanced journey in-line with their requirements
* Lead, motivate and coach the sales teams to deliver results whist ensuring quality and compliance throughout the customer journey; utilise clear and structured performance management as necessary – to include action plan, territory performance etc.
* Lead, motivate and coach the Sales Support function to operationally deliver support for retailer and broker partners as well as the Leasys field team
* Implement clear processes and procedures across the department to ensure operation within Leasys policies, as well as regulatory guidelines; Operational processes must be implemented in all areas of the process
* Devise and deliver pay plans to drive results whilst ensuring focus on the overall Leasys products, customer journey and compliance
* Manage sale of stock vehicles, reacting and working with the Marketing team to adjust campaigns / offers to avoid aged stock
* Implement a Leasys Commercial Policy with the support of the marketing and finance teams, to engage the retailer and broker networks to achieve sales and quality targets, whilst maintaining compliance throughout the journey
* Monitor and report on sales target achievements, measuring portfolio mix, terms and profitability to ensure a mix of business in-line with budget
* Drive the Dealer / Broker Network on Targets achievements
* Drive e-commerce sales, through available solutions, and monitor digital channel’s commercial performance.
* Ensure that the Teams’ technical, behaviours and management skills reach the required level of expectations through coaching or driving training plans to support
* Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Stellantis brand teams to negotiate and develop business opportunities through both B2B and Fleet channels
* Management and oversight of the delivery of all commercial Business Intelligence requirements; analysis of BI and provision of recommendations to support performance improvements and sales growth as well as ensuring that the Executive Committee have regular access to reporting to monitor performance versus kpi’s
* The role holder will form part of the Executive Committee and will be responsible for proposing recommendations to the committee to ensure strong, competitive overall commercial results whilst maintaining profitability as well as contributing towards overall executive business decisions

* Previous commercial and / or sales experience with knowledge of pricing components is essential
* Experience of leasing / fleet market is an advantage

* Basic skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential
