Our client
Our client is a well-respected law firm seeking to recruit a Paralegal with experience in Private Wealth or Court of Protection to join their busy Property Team.
Paralegal Duties:
1. Record time in accordance with the firm’s time recording policy.
2. Prepare correspondence, documents, and enclosures for dispatch using the practice management system, adhering to policies and procedures.
3. Draft contract documentation, submit searches, prepare stamp duty documentation, assist fee earners with enquiries, and deal with exchange and completion formalities.
4. Prepare financial statements for clients.
5. Administer files, including opening, closing, storage, and retrieval, following department procedures.
6. Make appointments, arrange meetings, and book rooms for clients.
7. Provide high-quality, professional service to clients and staff, responding promptly and appropriately to their needs.
8. Keep all current files 100% accurately up to date.
9. Support the business development activities of the department.
10. Maintain and update data in the practice management system related to clients, contacts, and marketing activities.
11. Ensure standards of quality and the firm’s reputation are maintained at all times.
About You:
* Previous paralegal experience is essential, ideally within Private Wealth or Court of Protection.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to deal effectively with clients and provide a high level of service.
* Willingness to assist with networking and marketing.
* Logical, organized, and thorough.
* Knowledge of and competency in Information Technology.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Attention to detail.
