Job Description
We are looking for a Product & Partnership Manager to source, negotiate, and manage the products and services offered to our members. This role is commercially focused, ensuring that all deals are exclusive, genuinely valuable, and tailored to the needs of our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Securing Exclusive Deals
• Identify and negotiate exclusive offers on products, services, and experiences.
• Build and maintain a diverse portfolio of deals that cater to our members’ interests.
• Work with brands, suppliers, and affiliates to secure genuine savings that members couldn’t access independently.
Partnership Management
• Develop and nurture strong commercial relationships with partners and suppliers.
• Ensure all partnerships align with FriendsDeals’ promise, values and audience preferences.
• Manage contract negotiations and commercial agreements to secure the best possible terms.
Commercial & Performance Management
• Ensure all deals are financially viable while delivering maximum value to members.
• Track deal performance, adjusting offerings based on member engagement and feedback.
• Work closely with marketing to effectively promote offers and drive uptake.
Understanding & Engaging Our Audience
• Stay in tune with the wants and needs of baby boomers, ensuring all deals are relevant and valuable.
• Use data, feedback, and research to refine and improve our offering.
• Focus on quality over quantity, ensuring every deal provides genuine benefit.
Qualifications
Experience in commercial partnerships, business development, or product sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure exclusive offers.
• A network of brand and supplier contacts or the ability to build new relationships quickly.
• A commercial mindset, balancing revenue goals with customer value.
• An understanding of what appeals to the baby boomer audience.
• A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on curating high-quality, meaningful deals.
