Are you ready to be the welcoming face of our Birmingham office? As a Receptionist / AV Assistant at Trowers & Hamlins, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have the best first impression of our firm. Working hours are 09:30 – 17:30 (With flexibility for events/shift cover. Reception operation times are 8:00 – 17:30).

The Role
As a Receptionist / AV Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our operations.
4. Provide a top-notch reception service to clients, Partners, and employees
5. Keep the Reception area tidy and professional
6. Meet and greet clients and visitors warmly
7. Handle incoming calls, redirecting or taking messages as needed
8. Set up telephone and conference calls, along with AV facilities
9. Ensure meeting rooms and client kitchen are clean and ready
10. Assist in organising marketing events, occasionally outside regular hours
11. Make travel arrangements and bookings
12. Manage and maintain AV equipment, providing support for meetings and events
13. Liaise with the IT team for equipment updates and training team members on AV use
The Candidate
We are looking for a Receptionist / AV Assistant who embodies these qualities:
14. Excellent oral and written communication skills
15. exceptional technical skills with PCs, laptops, and online meeting platforms
16. Ability to work independently and proactively
