Being a SEND Teacher, enables endless opportunities to teach specialised subjects and for general cover working on a supply basis. You will be part of a fantastic, supportive team. As a SEND Teacher you may choose to work, day to day, short-term, long-term with the option for full and part-time positions.
About the school
The Specialist Schools and Provisions cater for students in with communication and language difficulties, Social and Emotional Mental Health needs and Visual or Hearing impairments. With brilliant facilities, resources and a staff team who pride themselves on their child-centred approach to raise engagement on daily basis. Most schools and provisions have excellent public transport links, but access to a vehicle would be desirable.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Teacher you will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teaching Status (NQT)
2. Hold a driving licence, which would be preferred, but not essential
3. Confident delivering the provide curriculum
4. Strong behaviour management skills
5. Ability to adapt lessons to the needs of the learners
6. A complete understanding of Safeguarding procedures

Salary
£135 to £220 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
