Associate/Principal/Senior Transport Planners

This multidisciplinary consultancy with strong links across the Midlands and South West has three key roles offering unrivaled prospects currently, seeking experienced transport professionals. We are keen to speak with passionate individuals who are likely working in a consultancy environment and involved in supporting all aspects of development planning project work through the whole development cycle from site selection, due diligence, and appraisal, through planning, design, and implementation.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing Access Strategies, Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Parking Strategies, Sustainable transport / Active Travel, and inputs to Environmental Impact Assessment.
2. Undertaking junction modelling (Junctions 10 (Arcady, Picady) and LinSig).
3. Inputting to S106 negotiations and liaising with local highway authorities.
You will work on a number of exciting, complex transport planning projects, with the support of fellow Directors, gaining valuable experience and exposure across a range of sectors and a variety of clients on all scales/types of projects.

It is hoped that you will be a graduate in a relevant subject and have around 7 or more years in the industry with experience covering:
1. Policy and guidance such as NPPF, DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20 etc.
2. Use of the TRICS database.
3. Setting up and running of junction modelling software, including Junctions 10.
4. Collaboration with clients, project teams, highways officers, and community members.
Candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills.
