This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for the tax compliance and tax related financial reporting for the group legal entities and operations, as well as developing tax strategies for the company. This will include income and indirect tax compliance for all of the group legal entities, calculation of tax provisions for the Swiss holding company and all subsidiary companies (GAAP and non-GAAP) and advice as regards to group tax planning, special assignments and other projects as assigned. What you will do: Ensure compliance with the relevant Swiss and international tax regulations – both direct and indirect taxes. Assist in developing tax-efficient strategies for the company. Establish and maintain transfer pricing documentation for group companies, including monitoring intercompany transactions and identifying opportunities to enhance transfer price settings. Prepare GAAP and non-GAAP statutory tax provisions relating to the company's operations. Coordinate and prepare tax footnotes and other disclosures within the group’s financial statements. Manage local and foreign tax audits. Manage external advisers for outsourced tax compliance (both income and indirect), as well as ensuring timely and accurate estimated tax payments. Interact with various people within the finance and accounting, legal and other teams as required. Keep abreast of tax law changes and manage assigned projects to successful completion. Essential skills and qualifications: Bachelor degree in accounting or finance. Chartered accountant, CPA or equivalent tax qualification is strongly preferred. Significant professional experience in a top-tier public accounting firm and/or as in-house tax manager in an international company. Good understanding of the Swiss tax system. Understanding of BEPS and OECD developments. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage all levels within a cross-functional organization through inspiration and influence.
