Purpose: To provide support to the paint team in delivering accurate, high-quality products in line with production requirements. Key Responsibilities: Preparation: Prepare metal and composite parts for painting. Masking: Accurately mask parts according to technical specifications. Technical Drawings: Read and follow technical drawings to ensure precision. Painting: Apply wet spray solid, metallic, and clear paints using air-powered spray guns. Reporting: Provide production updates to the Team Leader as needed. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Team Leader. Knowledge Requirements: Strong understanding of technical drawings. Proficiency with vibrating hand tools and air-powered spray guns. Familiarity with measuring equipment and tools. Education: General education qualification. Skills and Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to measure and mix paints and fillers accurately. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Effective listening skills. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. Professional Experience: Essential: Minimum of 5 years of spray painting experience. Experience using 2K paints. Desirable: Background in the aerospace or motor trade industries. Experience with 2K water-based paints. Contract Details: Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months Hours: 37 hours per week (basic), overtime available. Payment Terms: Umbrella payment only (inside IR35). Rate: £24.95 gross per hour (Umbrella pay).
