Job Title: Market Research Associate, Professional Online Learning
Salary: £34,500 - £40,000
Location: Cambridge, UK (hybrid – minimum 2 days a week in the office)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)

About the role

COE works across the University of Cambridge to bring the very best in professional online learning together in an ‘all-Cambridge’ approach for our clients through a market leading portfolio of online short courses. This Market Research Associate is a critical role in a dynamic and newly established Propositions team, conducting market research and market testing for COE products with customers throughout the product lifecycle, from idea inception to post-launch feedback and insights.
* Gather, interpret, and analyse market research data and customer feedback to make strategic recommendations that will inform product development and sales strategy.
* Conduct desk research and primary research with potential customers to identify and analyse the learning needs and skills gaps.
* Perform data analysis to size and segment target markets for our products.
* Conduct market testing throughout the product development process to ensure that our digital products meet customer teaching and learning needs.
* Design creative market testing approaches to collect feedback from learners and industry partners through surveys and live events.
About you
* Skilled in qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis, with the ability to synthesise and communicate a large body of research.
* Experience with in-person and online facilitation and presentation.
* Excellent organization, communication, and analytical skills.
* Strong prioritization and time management skills to manage multiple projects.
* Enjoy collaborating with a team.
* Ability to interpret research results and translate these into reports and presentations for decision makers.
* Self-starter who can work independently, while welcoming feedback and guidance.
* Open to exploring new and innovative ways of engaging customers throughout the product development process.
