Post : Exams Invigilator
Contract : Sessional, as and when required by the college
Salary : £14:00 per hour, plus holiday pay
Shooters Hill Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint Exams invigilators to assists with exams during the busy exam periods. You will be required to work on a flexible basis, Monday – Friday, mornings and/or afternoons reporting to the Exams Manager.
The successful candidates will be flexible, reliable, punctual, and pay attention to detail. You will be a self-motivated individual; have excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner. The successful candidates will have an interest in helping support students at SHC to achieve their best in both internal and external examinations and be pro-active in providing assistance with the setting-up of exam rooms, distribution of papers and ensuring exam regulations are adhered to at all times. The role will involve long periods of standing and sitting.
Applicants with previous experience of invigilating in an education establishment would be advantageous but not essential, as full mandatory training will be given to the successful candidates.
