The Science teacher will play a vital role in fostering a love for the subject and inspiring students to excel in their studies. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and supports the individual needs of students. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement improvements to the Science curriculum. Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and address any concerns. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to contribute to the wider school community. Requirements Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in Science or a related field. Experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level. Strong knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians. Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in ongoing learning and training. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons and assess student progress.
