Role Overview:
Are you looking to kick start your career in a creative, forward thinking marketing department that will give you the chance to grow as a Marketeer?
The Golfbreaks Marketing team are looking for a Social Media Apprentice who will be responsible for driving the brand’s social media presence across all platforms.
We are looking for a keen golfer who has a real passion for content creation and keeps up to date with trends and golf related content on social media & YouTube. As part of the role, you will receive both in-house training in your day to day role as well as being enrolled onto a Level 3 or Level 4 Multi-Channel Marketeer apprenticeship to allow you to gain further qualifications and support from our dedicated training provider. Your time will be split between 80% work experience and 20% off the job training.
This could be a fantastic opportunity for school or college leavers, or those looking for a new career path in social media.
This position involves creating and editing content that is in line with the business objectives.
The role will be based full-time in the Windsor Head Office and could potentially require both domestic and foreign travel to gather content and present our venues across all social media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create inspiring video content that will go out across all social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and YouTube Shorts.
* Aid the Senior Social Media Executive in social media strategies and initiatives aligning with the business objectives.
* Collaborate with marketing, product and sales teams to deliver a cohesive social media presence that enhances the customer journey, driving engagement and opportunities for conversion.
* Leveraging social media analytics and insights to optimise content, targeting, and engagement strategies across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
* Develop and help manage social media calendars, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, and key business milestones.
* Monitor and help manage brand reputation across social media platforms, responding to customer inquiries and feedback in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
* Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to keep the brand’s social media presence innovative and competitive.
Preferred Skills:
* Previous social media video editing skills across Instagram & TikTok
* Confident presenting in front of camera
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Exceptional verbal, written, and creative communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to identify and capitalise on social media trends and opportunities.
* Excellent time management and project management skills.
* Experience with Photoshop, Canva, CapCut is beneficial but not required.
