As an IT Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing solutions to solve business problems, creating a schedule for analysis, and working with in-house technical teams to ensure consistency of use, among other duties. Moreover, you will oversee understandable business terms and produce user manuals, requiring exceptional interpersonal and communicative ability.
IT Consultant Responsibilities:
* Exceptional ability to articulate functional system, IT test cases, and procedures within agreed timescales.
* Providing delivery on the test cases, test plans, and continuously improve test designs as per IT requirements.
* Oversee issues in order to make recommendations to improve future performance and place robust testing strategies and processes.
* Establish and implement business agility in terms of predictability, reliability, and adaptability.
* Exceptional willingness for being fully responsible for the quality and reliability of all our software.
* Lead the quarterly review meetings carrying out the necessary preparation and follow up of actions.
* Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience with planning software and/or IT application software desired.
* Solid exposure to business process mapping and/or re-engineering preferred.
* Undertakes the testing of software and systems, identifies sources of problems.
* Develops quality standards and validation techniques.
* Makes recommendations concerning software/system quality.
* Examines IT systems for potential threats to their security and integrity and draws up plans for disaster recovery if security is compromised.
* Deals with and reports on breaches in security.
Qualification: A graduate degree in an IT-related subject, such as computer science, IT and computing, or data science.
Salary: 30,000– 35,000 GBP
Fulltime: 37.5 hours
