Project Manager – Product Delivery (Mimesis)

Salary:
Circa £60,000 + depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Develop, tailor, and manage project management processes to ensure effective product delivery
* Act as the primary liaison with stakeholders across BAE Systems, supporting engagement with broader Simulation and Synthetics initiatives, including Project OdySSEy
* Work closely with the Project Engineering Manager, System Design Authority, and Work Package Managers to ensure seamless project management
* Track and manage all financial aspects of projects, including CSRs, invoicing, monitoring spend against forecasts, and ETCs
* Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and actively contribute to commercial discussions and decisions
* Manage multiple priorities effectively, adapting to tight deadlines while providing clear direction and support to product teams
Your skills and experiences:
* Project Delivery experience at a similar scale
* Knowledge of LCM (tools, practices and techniques)
* Strong and developed communication and diplomacy skill and ability to persuade internal and external stakeholders
The Project team:
This is a unique opportunity to help shape a new initiative for BAE Systems, launched earlier this year, with significant potential for growth and development. The Project Manager will collaborate with the Product Delivery Lead to define product governance and delivery processes, ensuring successful product delivery. This role will also support the Product Delivery Lead in engaging with broader BAE Simulation and Synthetics teams, including initiatives such as Project OdySSEy.
