Senior Estimator (or similar discipline) with UK water industry experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for water-related projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
2. Tender Preparation: Lead the pricing of tenders and bid submissions, ensuring all estimates meet client requirements and align with the company's financial objectives.
3. Project Evaluation: Assess project plans, specifications, and requirements to identify key project components and potential cost risks.
4. Subcontractor Management: Obtain and analyse subcontractor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in the project scope, and provide solutions or contingency plans within the estimate.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and the procurement team to ensure estimates align with project objectives and budgets.
7. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to clarify project specifications and ensure estimates reflect their requirements and expectations.
