We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to share your love of dance and inspire students aged 4-11 across various dance forms. As a Dance Instructor, you'll be responsible for teaching engaging sessions before, during, and after school hours, as well as contributing to
Performing Arts holiday camps. The ideal candidate must be able to choreograph and lead sessions that are age-appropriate and engaging for this age group, with a focus on participation, development, and enjoyment. Essential Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dance Instructor.
Level 3 qualification in Dance or Performing Arts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and school staff.
Ability to demonstrate and adapt dance techniques to suit the needs of children aged 4-11. A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing students in the art of dance.
Full driving license and access to a car.
Desirable:
Ability to work independently.
Training in safeguarding and child protection.
Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Current Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one

Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver fun, progressive dance activities for children aged 4-11, focusing on their participation, development, and enjoyment.
Track and adapt sessions based on pupil development, ensuring a tailored approach for each child.
Provide additional support to children who may need extra help with their learning or movement skills.
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and personal growth.
Choreograph routines for performances, competitions, or showcases.
Take full responsibility for the safety and engagement of all children, ensuring focus and on task behaviour throughout sessions.
Adapt your approach to different stakeholders including children, parents, and school staff, maintaining strong relationships.
Follow all company policies, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
