N Position Type Non-Management We have an exciting opportunity to join the HR team at The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa as Learning, Development & Quality Executive Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is one of Scotland's leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel, we also have the biggest banqueting and meeting facilities of any hotel in Edinburgh with a capacity of up to 500 along with our One Square Restaurant and bar and the award winning ONE SPA. As Learning, Development & Quality Executive you will be responsible for all L&D activity on property. You will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of pro-active, effective training courses that encompasses guest services satisfaction in line with hotel standards in order to maintain an efficient, motivated and skilled workforce to fulfill the needs of the hotel and its guests. You will conduct new hire induction and follow up on online training modules through reporting and liaison with department heads. You will conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance with company and Sheraton brand standards and support teams to ensure that they continue to deliver on excellence throughout the property.You will understand and commit to embracing the brand culture in every aspect of the daily operation. You will review guest feedback with HOD's, ensure appropriate corrective action is taken and create meaningful action plans that enhance service. Additional exposure to basic HR coordinator duties will be expected so that you can assist in the absence of the HR team. The successful candidate will be proactive and will be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) as well as: - Previous experience in training/learning & development is essential - Great Customer Service Skills - Must enjoy interaction, be able to anticipate associate needs and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.Must have the ability to effectively communicate at different organizational levels - Build key relationships with all hotel associates to ensure expectations are met/exceeded at all times. - Must be a Team Player - Demonstrate experience of building positive working relationships and promoting team spirit. - Essential Computer Skills - Knowledge of Fourth is preferred, (although full training will be given), Microsoft Outlook, presentation skills and the ability to manage an inbox and busy to do list.
