The role
As a Accounts Payable Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your role is to provide support and general cover within the Accounts Payable Team, predominately supporting the accounts payable activities.
Day-to-day activities include but are not limited to the following key duties: Invoice processing, payment runs, supporting supplier queries and resolution, review work queue and mailbox management.
1. High Volume processing of invoices and credit notes effectively on behalf of the businesses
2. Reconciliation of key supplier statements and adherence to timetable
3. Understand processing requirements for Service Level Agreements and ensure they are met or exceeded
4. Ensuring effective, accurate and timely response to queries and resolving exceptions with suppliers and business partners
5. Escalation of any issues faced in satisfying the customer demands
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with one day per week onsite based at Rosyth.
Essential experience of the Accounts Payable Administrator:
6. Demonstrable experience in an accounts payable administrator role
7. Processing invoices in an ERP system
8. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications including Excel, Work and Outlook
9. Experience with processing invoices in SAP is desirable
10. Experience with invoices in Coupa is desirable
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Administrator:
