Maintenance Manager seeks change in environment. As Maintenance Manager, lead team and oversee maintenance activities for efficient and safe operations of manufacturing equipment, systems, facilities, and infrastructure. Provide technical advice and support, manage budgets, and oversee expenditure reports.
Maintenance Operations & Asset Management:
• Lead daily maintenance operations, including scheduling, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Implement and manage PPM programs to minimize reactive downtime.
• Oversee equipment and building system maintenance, coordinate contractor work.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies.
• Collaborate with finance to manage capital expenditure budget.
• Conduct regular audits and asset checks.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
• Lead and develop a small team of maintenance technicians.
• Provide ongoing training and performance feedback.
• Adopt a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork.
• Manage employee shift schedules.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance process and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements.
Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with H&S policies, HSENI guidelines, and environmental regulations.
• Work with H&S Manager to conduct routine safety audits, risk assessments, and training.
• Organize external statutory inspections.
Budgeting and Reporting:
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets.
• Ensure cost-efficient procurement of maintenance supplies, parts, and service.
Essential Requirements:
• 3rd Level Qualification in Engineering or related.
• Minimum 3 year's experience in maintenance management position.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, asset management principles, and CMMS Software.
Desirable Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering Discipline.
• Safety related qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH).
• Experience gained managing a budget, experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Contractor assessment and appointment.
