This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible, student focused professional to work as part of the Inclusive Student Support Services’ Specialist Study Skills team.
The post holder will be required to provide one- to-one specialist tuition to students with SpLDs, ASC, AD(H)D, mental health conditions, medical conditions and other support needs, as part of the non-medical-helper team. Specialist one to one support focuses on helping students to develop study skills and strategies to work effectively in a higher education context in the presence of their condition. This support should be tailored to a student’s individual needs, and support workers delivering this role should set out clear goals and timescales for achieving these goals.
The role requires an independent, enthusiastic and suitably qualified professional who is able to deliver effective and integrated support to students.
