Main Duties and Responsibilities of the role Lead integration initiatives across disparate systems such as SAP, SUN Systems, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms, with a strong focus on ServiceNow. Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams — helping shape requirements, propose scalable integration approaches, and influence technical direction. Automate and streamline business workflows to enhance operational efficiency and user experience. Working with cross functional teams to develop integrations, automate workflows, and ensure seamless deployment across on-prem and cloud environments Champion continuous improvement, particularly around integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka). Contribute to architectural decisions, system documentation, and the creation of reusable runbooks and standards. Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and technical stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver value-driven outcomes. Ensure high standards in testing, documentation, and security compliance, partnering with QA and InfoSec teams. Serve as a point of leadership within delivery teams – a natural collaborator, problem-solver, and advocate for best practices. Requirements Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations, including custom API development and integration with third-party platforms. Solid coding background – proficient in JavaScript (Python also beneficial). Experience with integration tools, including scripted and out-of-the-box REST/SOAP web services. Familiarity with messaging middleware such as Kafka is a plus. Hands-on experience working with SQL databases, cloud technologies ( AWS or Azure ), and ITSM best practices. Proven consulting mindset — someone who is comfortable engaging with business and technical stakeholders, offering solutions and driving outcomes. Understanding of ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem Management, etc.).
