Your new company
It is a well-established leading local employer who has been in business for 35 years. They have an immediate requirement within their business for an Administrator. This is a full-time position and the working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. It is an office-based role.
Your new role
As Office Administrator, you will report to the Administration Manager and play a key role in the busy office environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Answering telephone calls from customers and dealing with enquiries professionally.
2. Taking customer orders over the phone and entering the details accurately onto the system.
3. Taking customer payments over the phone and in-person, then creating invoices on Sage accordingly.
4. Liaising with the warehouse team in relation to the status of customer orders and booking carriers for delivery.
5. Completing general administration duties, including email management.
What you'll need to succeed
As Office Administrator, it is essential that you can demonstrate previous experience in a busy administrator role. You will have excellent communication skills and be confident liaising with people internal and external to the business via verbal and written forms. You will be proficient in Microsoft suite and able to demonstrate previous experience in Sage Accounts software.
