Food Technology Teacher Needed – Immediate Start!
Are you a passionate Food & Nutrition specialist looking for a part-time teaching opportunity after the Easter break in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school?
ANZUK are working in partnership with a fantastic independent secondary school, based in Bristol who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food & Nutrition Teacher to join their team from April 21st to June 20th, with the potential to be extended.
Food Technology Teacher - Role Details:
Position: Part-Time Food & Nutrition Teacher
Start Date: Week commencing April 21st
Duration: Until June 20th, with possible extension
Days Required: Monday afternoons and all day Fridays
Key Stages: Mainly KS3
Focus: Predominantly practical-based lessons Requirements of a Food Technology Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Specialism in Food Technology with a strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Current Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate (essential)
Experience teaching KS3 students in a school setting
A passion for food education and hands-on learning
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Ability to inspire and motivate students with varied abilities and interests This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise into a well-equipped food technology department and inspire the next generation of chefs, nutritionists, and healthy eaters!
