As a Teacher of Design & Technology, you will have experience in teaching all core areas of the subject, with up-to-date subject knowledge and a commitment to providing insightful and engaging lessons for all learners. You will be responsible for teaching years 7-11, to include exam groups, and you will be needed to support learners of all abilities, helping them achieve their full potential, building confidence, and achieving success academically.
The school is located close to junction 21 of the M5 and also within walking distance of a local training station, and along a main bus route, making it ideal for those who do not drive.
Responsibilities include:

* Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge
* Lesson planning
* Evaluating progress of students
* Following school policies
This role is for a January 2025 start, however, this could be sooner, depending on the school's needs, and would suit both ECTs or more experienced teachers. Initially, this is a short-term contract until Easter; however, this may continue into term 5. For this role, you should hold a UK QTS qualification and have experience teaching the UK curriculum. Applications from those without QTS but with relevant subject experience may be considered at the school's discretion. Experience of teaching practical sessions and current Health & Safety certificates is desired but not essential.
