Facilities Manager - Northamptonshire Purpose of the role: As Facilities Manager, you will have a pivotal role in our organisation ensuring we have a safe, legal and fully operational estate. The role will ensure delivery of our pro-active and reactive facilities activity for the property portfolio and drive continual improvements at all property lifecycle stages. You will be responsible for taking the lead role across their specific geographic region for directly managing the FM supply chain, including during trials and innovations to deliver safe, legal and quality service. The role will ensure that our critical assets and design and build standards and specifications are adhered to and compliant with all applicable legislation and any Stonegate specific requirements. Specifically, also ensuring the services delivered through our supply chain are done to specified Stonegate standards and are managed inside a Governance Framework, on a time, cost and quality basis. As Facilities Manager you will monitor contractual performance targets and service levels to manage the FM supply chain. You will ensure complimentary alignment with other business strategies, and to act as a force for change to implement innovative solutions through collaboration and partnerships both internally and externally. You will manage high profile business interruption projects with a focus on being able to trade safely and legally. The role will also work with the Helpdesk, Operations and Finance teams to ensure the repairs and maintenance costs are accurate and to budget and provide early detailed summary of reasons for spend. This role will be primarily supporting the South East Midlands region. Key responsibilities: Leadership & Delivery of FM Strategy and implementation plans: Ensures delivery of the FM strategy. Inspiring and motivating others to drive improvements in all aspects of our estate management. Leading colleagues: Working with internal / external technical subject matter experts in facilities management, building safety, supplier relationships, procurement disciplines. Committed to CPD: in their own career and advising on relevant development for others in the Property team. Oversight, Communications & Engagement: Technical oversight of deliverables. Budget management & benefits realisation. Alignment with other business functions & business objectives. Acting as the subject matter expert to Operations on FM matters. Internal / External impact: Representing the department with key FM supply chain stakeholders and interfacing directly with executive teams across the supply chain. Active on the delivery of continual improvement groups and conferences where FM needs to be represented. Internally, being a force for change in FM with all Stonegate colleagues on the benefits of sound property management. Compliance, Governance & Risk Management: Using the governance framework and Property objectives as a basis and ensuring alignment with other complementary Property team strategies. Working with the health and safety team, ensuring compliance with all appropriate health and safety standards, policies and regulations and the identification and management of risk within agreed frameworks, escalating where appropriate. Owning key and senior stakeholder relationships across the leadership structure: Working with Heads of functions, Senior Financial Planning, Format Development, Legal Services and Policy Management, Operations as well as direct counterparts and peers across the business units to drive a high-quality FM service. Managing team performance (Internal and External): Driving continuous improvement via scheduled reviews and lessons learned, including KPIs and SLA’s typical to FM. Skills, Experience & Qualifications: Relevant experience working in a commercially focused fast paced environment – ideally in a Retail, Food and Beverage, Leisure industry.
