As a Logistics Supervisor (Pallet Network), you'll be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our pallet network and logistics operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our customers' transport requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Hours: Monday – Friday 09:30 – 18:30, Saturday AM (rota basis).

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate pallet network operations.
* Plan and control logistics for client needs.
* Utilise IT systems to book and track transport.
* Solve real-time logistics issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
* Ensure legal compliance with tachograph and transport legislation.
* Maximise the utilisation of vehicles and drivers.
* Provide daily communication with customers, depots, and drivers.
* Monitor and report on KPIs to senior management.
* Manage all administrative tasks, including Insurance Claims and CORs.
* Build strong relationships with customers and network partners.
* Mentor and develop the Pallet Network Planner.
* Attend regional and national meetings, and award events.

The Person
We’re looking for a motivated individual with a background in pallet network operations and experience managing a team. Key qualities include:
* Experience in pallet network-specific operations.
* Ability to manage HGV drivers and staff.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Computer literate, including use of Outlook and logistics software.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Full driving licence (Cat B).
* Knowledge of local geographical areas
