Job Description HS-MH-CCC 1 Closing date: 12th May 2025 Job Title: Personal Assistant Hours per week: 4 hours per week, to be worked on a Saturday in term time, the day may vary at half term and will be agreed mutually in advance. Location: Llansannan, Conwy Rate of pay: £14.70 per hour We are looking for a personal assistant to support our 14 year old son with days out, activities, socialising and supporting his independence. He has autism and epilepsy. He has many interests, and we would like the new personal assistant to support him with getting out and about within the community on days out and doing activities he enjoys, or even to look after him at home when the rest of the family is out. Task and duties, to include any or all of the following: We would like the PA to take our son to places for example: To play/theme parks To the seaside, Walking Swimming Travelling To the cinema or other places that would be of interest. Occasional personal hygiene care when required. Keep our son safe and keep him company and support with socialisation and his independence. Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed. Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed. Is trustworthy, kind, punctual and reliable. Is patient and supportive with good listening skills and an ability to provide non-judgemental emotional support. Maintains confidentiality and respects the privacy of the family, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role. Is able to work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.
