Please refer to attached job description Main tasks and responsibilities1. Clinical Practice To work in partnership with the multidisciplinary team to develop individual programmes that provides measurable outcomes of patient care. To provide high quality holistic care to a defined group of patients/ clients on the ward prioritising workload according to the changing clinical need through throughout the shift. The group of babies will include special and high dependency care babies who require care in: oxygen therapy intravenous therapy including TPN and / or blood transfusion gastric / jejunal or gastrostomy feeding maintaining infants temperature ie nursing babies in incubator /hot cot phototherapy Ph studies specific observation for eg. babies with drug withdrawal/babies of diabetic mother. Optiflow (high flow oxygen) and NCPAP babies after receiving training and achieving competency. To promote family integrated care and ensure health promotion as an integral part of nursing care To provide sensitive support to all parents especially the parents of dying babies and babies with anomalies
