Mental Health Practitioner Manager
The London Borough of Lambeth is looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner Manager. This is an opportunity to join a well-structured and organized team. This position will be for an initial 3-6 months with the potential for extension, subject to internal circumstances and your performance.
Mental Health Practitioner Manager Responsibilities include:
1. Providing line management of front-line operational services, including comprehensive assessment and case management for vulnerable adults.
2. Leading the delivery of safe services for service users, including investigating, chairing, and reviewing adult safeguarding episodes as appropriate.
3. Managing a group of Social Workers, Assessors, and ancillary staff within the team.
4. Developing a range of Divisional procedures and working practices.
5. Working in partnership with other professionals.
6. Developing robust implementation plans to address any outstanding practice matters.
7. Carrying out annual appraisals.
Minimum Requirements/Experience Preferred:
1. SWE Registration.
2. 3 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry.
3. Experience managing a team.
4. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain this for you).
5. Eligibility to work in the UK.
