Dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag and Travel Republic.
We are now recruiting for a fully qualified accountant with reporting experience to join us as our Group Reporting Manager based in Leyland. In this role, you will own the reporting models to be used by our brands, own and develop reporting packs and the consolidation of monthly and quarterly reports for submission to Group.
This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office each week and 2 days remotely.
Job Accountabilities
* Consolidation of monthly UK results to Group
* Production of holding company accounts, along with processing consolidation adjustments
* Lead the monthly forecast process for the UK in line with the Group timetable
* Consolidation of quarterly UK Results to Group, importing data into Cognos, working through any reconciliation differences and closing out any queries
* Consolidation of Budget Submissions and importing into SEI
* Production of monthly board packs
* Production of ONS survey responses for relevant entities
* Work with brands to ensure the budget/mid term plan (MTP) is consolidated and submitted to Group
To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Able to understand and engage with key stakeholders - experience of dealing with international group colleagues would be an advantage
* Open, honest and direct
* A clear thinker able to adopt a logical and structured approach to all business matters
* Highly numerate and analytical
* Advanced Excel skills – must have experience working with and analysing large data sets
Desirable
* Experience of building financial models for a service organisation
* Experience of working with SEI
* Leisure travel industry experience
* Previous experience of working in a Group structure, co-ordinating reporting across a number of subsidiaries/locations
* The ability to challenge current processes and historic ways of working, and suggest improvements
* Experience of interrogating and operating with an ERP system (Sage X3 or similar)
